The T-72 series tanks are arguably the most numerous in the Iranian inventory. While it is beginning to show it's age, it is still a viable solution for many third-world countries that are unable to afford a more expensive option. This tank closely resembles the newer T-80 series tanks, with the exception being the lack of any physical separation between the two 55 gallon auxilliary fuel drums on the rear of the vehicle.
