The SA-11 SAM is a highly versatile missile system, capable of engaging targets ranging from high altitude aircraft to extremely low level helicopters. Although this system can engage helicopters at low altitude, it has a minimum range of 1.5km and the missile itself has a slightly less than average turn rate. Still, a single hit from one of these missiles will destroy your helicopter...period. It is also capable of detecting and tracking targets on its own, so simply destroying the Snow Drift that is with these SAM's will not end them as a threat.
